Privacy Policy
Last Updated: April 4, 2026
This Privacy Policy describes how the Call & Message Scheduler mobile application developed by IonXtech collects, uses, and protects information when you use our app. Your privacy is important to us and we are committed to full transparency about our data practices.
Call & Message Scheduler lets you schedule automatic phone calls and messages at a date and time you choose. The app runs primarily on your device. Below we describe every type of data that may be accessed or transmitted.
1. Data We Collect
The app accesses the following categories of data. Most data never leaves your device. The only information that may be transmitted off-device is limited to optional, ephemerally-processed analytics and crash diagnostics.
a) Scheduled Call Data — stored locally, never transmitted
Phone numbers, scheduled dates, and times you enter are stored only in your device's local app storage. This data is never sent to IonXtech or any third party.
b) Contacts — optional, on-device only
If you choose to pick a number from your contacts, the app reads that phone number on-device solely to populate the scheduling form. No contact data is transmitted off your device or stored externally.
c) Analytics Data — optional, processed ephemerally
To understand how users interact with the app (e.g. which features are used, session length, button taps), the app may collect anonymised usage analytics.
- This data is processed ephemerally — held in memory only for as long as needed to service the real-time request and retained no longer.
- Collection is optional. You can opt out at any time from the app’s Settings screen.
- No personally identifiable information (name, phone number, contact data) is included in analytics events.
d) Crash Logs & Diagnostics — optional, processed ephemerally
If the app crashes or encounters an error, diagnostic information (device model, OS version, stack trace) may be transmitted to help us identify and fix bugs.
- Crash data is processed ephemerally — used only to diagnose the specific issue and not retained long-term.
- Collection is optional. You can disable crash reporting from the app’s Settings screen.
- Crash logs do not include personal information such as contact data or scheduled call content.
2. Permissions Used
The application requests the following Android permissions:
- CALL_PHONE
Allows the app to initiate a phone call automatically at the scheduled time. Required for core functionality. - READ_CONTACTS (Optional)
Allows you to pick a contact’s number from your address book when setting up a call. Only the selected number is used; no contact list is stored or transmitted. - SCHEDULE_EXACT_ALARM
Allows the app to trigger the scheduled call at the precise time you set. - RECEIVE_BOOT_COMPLETED
Allows the app to restore pending scheduled calls after a device restart so your schedules are not lost.
3. Data Storage & Retention
Scheduled call data is stored exclusively in your device’s local app storage and is deleted when you remove the scheduled entry or uninstall the app.
Analytics and crash diagnostic data that is transmitted off-device is processed ephemerally and is not retained by IonXtech beyond what is needed to service the real-time request.
4. Data Sharing
We do not sell, rent, trade, or share your personal data with third parties for marketing or advertising purposes.
Anonymised, ephemerally-processed analytics and crash data may be routed through standard analytics infrastructure solely to improve app quality. No personally identifiable information is ever shared.
5. Third-Party Services
The app uses the following third-party services. Each service operates under its own privacy policy, linked below.
-
Firebase Crashlytics — crash reporting and diagnostics. Data is processed ephemerally to identify and fix bugs.
Policy: firebase.google.com/support/privacy -
Google Analytics for Firebase — anonymised usage analytics (feature usage, session data) processed ephemerally, collection is optional.
Policy: policies.google.com/privacy -
Google AdMob — used to display advertisements within the app. AdMob may collect device identifiers (e.g. Advertising ID), IP address, and usage data to serve personalised or non-personalised ads depending on your consent settings.
Policy: support.google.com/admob/answer/6128543
These services are provided by Google LLC. We do not sell or share your data with any other data brokers or advertising networks beyond those listed above.
6. User Choice & Opt-Out
You can manage data collection at any time:
- Disable analytics and crash reporting from the app’s Settings screen.
- Opt out of personalised ads via Android Settings > Google > Ads > “Opt out of Ads Personalization”, or reset your Advertising ID.
- Revoke the READ_CONTACTS permission at any time via Android Settings > Apps > Call & Message Scheduler > Permissions.
- Uninstall the app to delete all locally stored scheduling data.
7. Security
Any data transmitted off-device (analytics, crash logs, and ad-related identifiers) is transmitted over standard HTTPS encryption by the respective third-party SDKs. All personal scheduling data remains on your device and is subject to the security of your device and Android OS.
8. Children's Privacy
This application is not directed toward children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided personal information through the app, please contact us and we will promptly delete it.
9. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in the app or applicable laws. Any updates will be posted on this page with a revised “Last Updated” date. Continued use of the app after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy.
